Terms of use

For application and platform usage

These general terms of use (the "Terms") apply between you as a customer ("Customer", "you") and &Repeat AB, Reg. No. 559191-3610, address Birger Jarlsgatan 57C, 113 56 Stockholm ("&Repeat", “our”, “we”), when you use your personal account on www.andrepeat.io or on &Repeat’s mobile application. Logged in services on www.andrepeat.io and the mobile application will together be referred to as the “Platform”.

&Repeat offers consumer services for sorting packaging, collecting and using credits (the “Service”) in restaurants and stores connected to &Repeat’s Platform (“&Repeat Partners”). By registering an &Repeat user account or by using the Service you confirm that you have read and agree to the Terms.

The Terms constitute the entire agreement between the parties of all matters to which the Terms relate. If you have any questions regarding the Terms, you may always contact our customer service.

1.0 What does &Repeat do?

&Repeat puts a deposit on foodservice packaging distributed by &Repeat Partners to increase recycling of their packaging. The deposit is paid by you to the &Repeat Partners when you purchase a meal or beverage (“Product”) served in a packaging that is subject to our Service. When you sort the packaging according to the instructions in the Platform at an &Repeat approved collection point (“Collection Point”), the deposit is transferred to your user account in the form of &Repeat credits (“Credits”).

The Credits can be used as payment in any connected &Repeat Partner restaurant or store and reflects the full value of the deposit paid. From time to time &Repeat may increase the Credits paid out for a certain deposit to consumers for correctly sorted packaging. However, the Credit will never be lower than the deposit value. The deposit value can differ between different types of packaging.

To use the Service, you need to create a user account on the Platform.

1.1 What is a &Repeat Collection Point and why do I need to be close to it?

A Collection Point is a sorting station registered in the Platform where different waste fractions can be sorted. You can find Collection Points at most of our &Repeat Partner restaurants and stores and at any FTI recycling station, but you can also register your own Collection Points for instance at the office or at home. Just follow the instructions in the Platform.

You can find all registered and available public Collection Points via the map function in the Platform.

You need to be standing close to a registered Collection Point to be able to register correct sorting in the Platform and collect your Credits.

1.2 Alright, but what is a waste fraction?

A waste fraction is simply an ordinary waste stream (We like to call them resource streams though!) such as carton, plastic, metal or glass.

1.3 How and where can I use the Credits?

The Credits can be used as payment in all &Repeat Partner restaurants and stores. You can find a full list of connected restaurants and stores here. You can use your Credits for a full payment or part of a payment.

Credits are stored in your user account for a maximum period of 1 year from the collection of the Credit. After 1 year the Credit is maculated and cannot be used. We will notify you before this happens. You hereby waive any claims you may have against us that arise due to your omission to use your Credits within the applicable 1 year period..

1.4 Is &Repeat responsible for the quality of the food or beverage or the packaging?

No - &Repeat has no responsibility for the quality of the Product or the packaging. The Product and packaging are provided by the &Repeat Partner and any questions or claims regarding this should be directed to the restaurant or store where you purchased your Product. However, &Repeat does guarantee that any packaging included in our deposit system is in fact recyclable, if sorted and handled correctly. This means that you can be certain that you are making a sustainable choice when purchasing Products from an &Repeat Partner.

1.5 Image rights

When using the Service, you may need to take pictures with your mobile camera and provide or make them available to us. You own these pictures, but you hereby give &Repeat an unlimited, irrevocable and royalty-free right to use, copy and/or transfer the pictures you provide or make available to us for commercial purposes, for example to develop and improve the Service. Furthermore, we may make your pictures publicly available in the Platform.

2.0 Does it cost anything to use the Service?

It’s free or charge to create an &Repeat account, to use the Service and to collect and use Credits. However, by purchasing a Product that is subject to our Service at an &Repeat Partner you will pay the deposit regardless if you use the Service or not. You hereby agree that you will not be able to get any refund or present any claim towards us as regards this deposit unless you use the Service. So make the smart choice and get an account, start sorting and collect your Credits!

3.0 What do you commit to?

You are responsible for ensuring that the information you provide when registering your user account with &Repeat is correct. You also warrant that all content and information that you provide or make available to us by your use of the Services is accurate.

You agree to keep your login credentials and other account information confidential and secure and to not share such information with anyone else.

Additionally, &Repeat is not responsible for criminal acts committed using the Service, such as threats, slander, any obscenity or disruptive, abusive, inappropriate, or illegal content or behaviour by any user.

Unless caused intentionally or by gross negligence, &Repeat is not responsible for any direct or indirect damage caused by your use of the Platform, the Service or by information from &Repeat.

9.0 Dispute resolution

Any dispute, controversy or claim arising out of or in connection to the Terms will be interpreted in accordance with Swedish law.

In case of a dispute between &Repeat and you, the parties will, as a first step, try to resolve the dispute by agreement. If this is not possible, the dispute will be determined by the National Board for Consumer Disputes (Sw: Allmänna reklamationsnämnden) or, ultimately, by a general court.

Thank you for taking the time to read our Terms!
